ABOUT US:

The Jacobs Neurological Institute of the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York is one of six Pediatric MS Centers of Excellence™ in the United States designated by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. We are honored to be a part of this network and will continue our practice of cutting-edge research, clinical excellence and comprehensive, compassionate patient care.

The three main goals of the Pediatric MS Center are to:

• Provide comprehensive treatment and support to children
and adolescents with MS and other demyelinating conditions

• Educate families, healthcare professionals and the public
about pediatric MS and other demyelinating conditions

• Advance basic and clinical research of Pediatric MS and
other demyelinating conditions

The Centers in the network will share experiences and collaborate on research initiatives. Together, we will attempt to improve treatment for children with MS and advance the understanding of early-onset forms of the disease.
